Team Kovu

Welcome to the Team Kovu Website!

Team Kovu was initially all about the Mondioring campaign of Kovu who is from the line of pure Performance American Bulldogs. Team Kovu was launched February 2011 with Kovu's passing of his Mondioring Brevet Trial. Since then, Kovu's been competing in the Official Mondioring Level 1 Trials of the Philippine Mondioring Association, Inc.

With all the activities that Kovu and his owner/handler Carl Michael de Leon are actively participating on, which is also a way of promoting the American Bulldog breed beyond the Mondioring dog sport, Team Kovu became more than just about Kovu's Mondioring campaign. It's no longer just between the Carl and Kovu tandem, but rather about everyone else who's been helping and supporting the tandem's every endeavor.

Team Kovu is now all about promoting an active human and dog lifestyle, encouraging regular dog owners to just come out and have fun with their dogs and enjoy the company of each other! Please feel free to hangout here more often and be a part of the TEAM KOVU campaign!

TeamKovu Enterprises

More good news from Team Kovu! Just a little over a year after the launching of the Team Kovu campaign, TeamKovu Enterprises was legally established last March 23, 2012 to handle some of the legal transactions of Team Kovu and giving the campaign a more realistic entity!

Kovu's Acting Debut in Agawan Base Independent Movie

Agawan Base Movie Poster Please watch and support the independent movie, "AGAWAN BASE", where Kovu played a significant role for his acting debut. There are no regular screenings for this movie, only in schools and special screenings.

UPDATE: The latest special screening of this movie was last April 28, 2012 at the GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium, Magsaysay St., UP Campus, Quezon City. Screening started from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and ticket price was only Php 100.00.

Support No to Mining in Palawan

NatGeo Top 20 Team Kovu would like to express its support to the "No to Mining in Palawan" Signature Campaign to help save Palawan, one of National Geographic's Top 20 Trips in 2011 from any further environmental damage brought about by mining. Together, let's all help and do our share in protecting the Philippines' Natural Resources from which our country is so blessed with.
